Gesetzlich Versicherte
Sie haben Anspruch auf eine psychotherapeutische Behandlung bei einem von der Kassenärztlichen Vereinigung zugelassenen Vertrags-Psychotherapeuten, wenn eine psychische Störung mit Krankheitswert vorliegt. Um Ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, die richtige Therapie und die/den richtige/n Therapeuten/in zu finden, stehen Ihnen bis zu 5 probatorische Sitzungen zur Verfügung. Erst danach müssen Sie sich entscheiden.
Privatversicherte
Sie haben in der Regel Anspruch auf Kostenerstattung einer ambulanten Psychotherapie durch einen approbierten Psychotherapeuten. Der Umfang hängt von Ihrem Versicherungsvertrag ab. Dazu erkundigen Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem Versicherer.
Beihilfeberechtigte
Sie haben in der Regel Anspruch auf Kostenerstattung einer ambulanten Psychotherapie, s.o., wenn ein Antrag bei Ihrer Krankenkasse genehmigt wurde. Über den Umfang können Sie sich bei der Beihilfestelle informieren.
Selbstzahler
Es steht Ihnen frei, Ihre Behandlung selbst zu zahlen. Kosten für die Therapie richten sich nach der Gebührenordnung für Ärzte und Psychotherapeuten (GOP). In diesem Falle ist es möglich, dass Sie die Kosten für eine Psychotherapie als "außergewöhnliche Belastungen" bei der Steuer geltend machen und somit einen Teil der Kosten zurück erhalten können.
Kostenübernahme im Rahmen der freien Heilfürsorge
Für Polizeivollzugsbeamte und Angehörige der Bundeswehr in NRW werden die Kosten einer ambulanten Psychotherapie im Rahmen der freien Heilfürsorge übernommen.
